Jones Bikes has moved to new location.  We now have so much more space to work, display bikes and H-bars, and generally organize things better. That’s not to say leaving Griffin Creek Road was easy – the shop there had grown with us in a very organic way and it had a real personality…

As you can see, organic growth isn’t necessarily tidy, especially once it outgrows its boundaries!  We had been working out of the house and the shop under the house for many years, and as great as the location was, each part of the business was on a different floor, which meant we spent a lot of time just running up and down stairs.  In order to keep up with bike builds we also needed space to store parts as well as complete bikes, and we just didn’t have it.

After looking around for a new space, we finally found it, and it even has a great address!  We are now at 101 Sunny Street, Talent, Oregon, 97540, and it’s everything we needed.  We’ve been here about two months, and we’re still moving in and finding the best way to organize inventory, but already the difference in what we can do is impressive.  We’re able to process orders more quickly, build bikes much more quickly, and keep everything organized while we do it!  One of the aspects of the new building that we’re most excited about is the space for a showroom and office, where you can come check out and test ride the bikes.  Visiting us is also easier now because we’re less than a mile from the interstate, so give us a call next time you’re going to be in town, and we’ll set up a time for you to come by!
