| What is the Jones Plus LWB?
It was in development for years and introduced in 2014. The Jones Plus LWB has proven itself as one of the most versatile bikes around, winning awards for its abilities as a bikepacking bike, as well as praise for just about all other types of riding. The long wheelbase with set back and upright position puts you in a position that’s comfortable and relaxed yet very efficient and great for everything from technical trails to long road rides! It’s a bike for touring, commuting, bikepacking, road riding, or mountain biking. Previously, the only way to get a complete Jones Plus LWB bike was to order a Custom Select bike.
Just like with the complete Jones Plus SWB released last year, there is now also a complete Jones Plus LWB bicycle available, without the longer wait and higher costs of a custom build.
The Jones Plus SWB is the shorter wheel base Jones bike with smaller 27.5×2.8-3.25″ tires.
The Jones Plus LWB is the longer wheel base Jones bike with taller 29×2.8-3.25″ tires.

- Big and tall 29″ x 2.8″ / 700c x 70mm smooth tread tires or bigger 29″ x 3″ / 700c x 76mm knobby tubeless ready tires on 50mm wide rims allow you to run very low pressure for maximum suppleness, better traction, more flotation and comfort along with lower rolling resistance, less flats and more safety, on road and dirt!
- Wide range SRAM NX Eagle 1×12 drivetrain.

- Full rack fender and bottle mounting bosses.
- The frame has three water bottle mounting locations, two of which can accommodate triple-boss style. The fork can hold two more bottles for a total of five on the bike.
