Brief descriptions of Jones bikes that have gone to customers

small bikes

I promised my kids that when they learned to ride a bike, I would build them One.

Here is Marley’s  bike.

Riding to school this spring before I built the Truss fork and removed the gears.

Headwind.

She loves the bike but unfortunately for her she can’t ride it this summer as it’s one of the bikes […]

6 speed run

I just finished a small run of cassettes for a few bikes and rolling chassis shipping out soon.

It’s compatible with Chris King and DT Swiss SS hubs as well as many other “single speed” cassette hubs.

It’s compatible with Shimano (not Shadow) derailleurs with a long low limit “L” screw supplied with the cassette.

This is […]

Museum of Arts and Design

There’s more information on the MAD website now about the exhibition I’m a part of – I mentioned it last week. All very exciting. I don’t think I’ll be able to get there in person (which is a shame) but flattered and fascinated by the view of the bicycle and bicycle building it presents. […]

4130 cromo steel Truss fork

When I built my first Spaceframe in 2003 I used 4130 cromo.

I’ve been asked many times about the possibility of a steel Truss fork and Spaceframe and I’ve been wanting to build a set for a while.

Neil’s bike and news

Neil’s bike is now built and shipped. He should have it soon.

This is one of the last bikes I’ll be building with Merlin made frames and forks.

Merlin informed us, after we had placed an order for more frame sets with them, that they wont be able to build for us anymore. They wont be […]

24″ Ti Diamond frame bike with Fat Truss fork

Here is a bike that just shipped. It’s the stock 24″ (effective top tube) size.

The pictures are from emails I sent to the owner. He went with a few extra wheels for different terrain. All of them are big.

Some of the pictures have measurements shown to confirm fit and help with stem sizing. It’s […]

24″ Spaceframe bicycle

I recently finished this bike.

It’s built up as a 12 speed with my modified XTR 6 speed cassette (13,15,17,20,23,26). This one is modified for the DT Swiss single speed hub.

This is the same gearing I have on my bike now, I really like it. The lowest gear is 22-26 and the fastest is 32-13. […]
