Do you have any good time on the BFL? How much heavier is it? Will it be okay on the 50mm rim you built me?
I have only ridden it a bit out in front of the shop so far. I did not weigh it yet.
It will work OK on the 50mm rim but it will be a little more stable on a wider rim. I have it on the 72mm rim here.
I’ll finish building up this bike soon, and then I’ll take it out for a ride to see what it is like with a fatter front wheel.
Interesting stuff Jeff. Any chance you could upload bigger pics (the ones you click on, not the thumbnails). Be great to see some more detail on your beautiful bikes.
